Fernando de Felipe

[Until November 13. House of the Interview].

Remembrance of the Future. Representations of the Future in Marketing and Utopia.

[Meeting with the author on TUESDAY the 8th at the Corral de Comedias and guided tour at the A.H. Santa María La Rica].

The ECC-UAH Chair of Comic Research and Culture and Mobile Week Alcalá present the emblematic work of professor, filmmaker and cartoonist Fernando de Felipe.

Through the pages of the comic book Marketing and Utopia, by Fernando de Felipe, originally published in 1990, issues that have emerged became the guidelines of contemporary dystopia. In a visionary manner, Fernando de Felipe's pages, which explore the boundaries between narrative and visual essay, advance all the themes that underpin the contemporary construction of an iconography of collapse, and the questions that instigate the contemporary debate on the construction of possible futures.

The exhibition closes with two short films based on his work, Oedipus, directed by himself and awarded at ALCINE26 and Killing the Spot, directed by Albert Pérez in 2002.
