A son takes care of his mother in an attempt to make her regain stability after suffering apsychotic episode.
Laura Garcia Alonso (Madrid, 1990), graduated from ESCAC, began working as an assistant director on productions by Pedro Almodóvar and Ridley Scott. Her first short film, "Alex", was selected for the San Sebastian Festival, MECAL, ALCINE and was nominated for the Gaudí Awards of the Catalan Film Academy. Her second short film, "Tormenta de verano", reflects on mental illness in the family environment. She is currently working as an advertising director and as a teacher at ESCAC. At the same time, she is developing her first film as a director.
