The idea of 'Test' came into being a couple of years ago when Natalia Mateo (co-director) gave birth. (Marta Aledo): Yes when Teo was born Nata started to see and live through a series of experiences that led to her writing this story.
Is the destiny of a child determined from birth?
The truth is your family and infancy form your character and personality, but I think that when you grow up you have the power to change your 'destiny' and to reinvent yourself as many times as necessary.
You are both actresses. How did you find your first experience on the other side of the camera?
There were times when I arrived at the shoot when I couldn't imagine anything I would rather do than what I was about to do. I looked around at the team and said to myself " this is what I want to do every day".
Would you repeat as directors? Together or on your own?
When directing with Nata I felt as if we totally complemented each other. What was difficult for me was easy for her, I get the impression she has the same sensation. But working alone would also be interesting. But without stress. And she would have to be there as an actress.
